Assembly Guest Speakers
Mark Gungor is a much sought-after speaker on marriage and family. Each year, thousands of couples attend his seminars. Mark's candid approach uses unforgettable illustrations and the power of laughter to teach proven principles that are guaranteed to strengthen any marriage. He is Senior Pastor of Celebration Church, a multi-site church with five campuses and has been featured on Focus on the Family, Life Today and ABC News. Mark is the author of Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage® (Simon & Schuster, 2008), the book based on his phenomenally successful seminar. He is married to Debbie, his high school sweetheart and constant travel companion. The Gungors have been married more than 36 years and have two married children and four grandsons. VINSON SYNAN
Vinson Synan, is a renowned historian and author within the Pentecostal movement. Synan has published sixteen books, fifteen of which are related to Pentecostal history. He once served as the Director of the Holy Spirit Research Center at Oral Roberts University . He also served as General Secretary of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church . He recently retired from his 18-year tenure as Dean of the School of Divinity at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He remains professor of church history there as well as Dean Emeritus. He has been married for 52 years to his wife Carol. They have four children. Speaking during the Thursday afternoon workshop session.
MARIO VEGA
Mario Vega is senior pastor of Elim Church, San Salvador, the second largest church in the world-comprising an amazing 11,000 cell groups with 110,000 people attending. Mario Vega is also the principal leader of the international Elim movement which has spawned approximately 125 churches around the world. Mario is the author of several books. He lives in San Salvador, El Salvador with his wife, Cecilia, and their son. Speaking during the Thursday afternoon workshop session.
